How to Download Wallpapers on the iPad 2

It’s quite easy, but here are again for reference the instructions on downloading wallpapers for the iPad.

Download Wallpapers for the iPad With Safari

  1. Open the full resolution image in Safari (the ideal size for iPad wallpapers is 1024×1024).
  2. Save Image.

  1. Open Photos and go to Saved Photos.
  2. In the options (arrow) dialog, hit Use As Wallpaper.

  1. You can now chose to set this wallpaper as Lock Screen, Home Screen, or both.

    These are great, but I am having difficulty trying to get the save image option to appear when I open the wallpaper I selected in Safari. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi Susan, if you just touch the image anywhere and hold the finger down for a second or two, the popup with Save Image and Copy should appear.
