Casey’s Contraptions: A Rube Goldberg Fanatic’s Dream 0

In high school, my favorite subject was Physics. Observing everyday phenomenon and assigning values to it such as the acceleration due to gravity or the centripetal force simply fascinated me. Of course, Physics was not everyone’s cup of tea. Our big project at the end of the year was to build a Rube Goldberg machine that would water a plant. The challenge of designing, building, redesigning, and re-building had me hooked. It was a fun project, and although a lot of work, it was well worth the countless hours spent. When I found Casey’s Contraptions, memories of this project flooded my mind as a navigated through the various levels. Casey’s Contraptions is a fun Physics-based game for Physics-junkies and normal people alike. continue reading »
